Economic Development develops and administers the Town's program for retaining and expanding existing businesses, and attracting new businesses. They also implement an aggressive tax incentive program. Here are several Economic Development objectives:
- To enhance the existing pro-business environment in order to stimulate new and increased business activity for the benefit of the whole community.
- To diversify and enhance the Town's tax base.
- To encourage meaningful new employment opportunities in Bloomfield.
- To achieve these goals, we make it a point to responsibly and fully demonstrate our available resources, capabilities, and location advantages.
